The Silmarillion in music Lind Erebros is a russian artist who composes lot of musics for fantasy video games. In 2012, he chose to use his talent to portray the genesis of Middle Earth; The Silmarillion, in three albums, composed in elvish and english depending of the songs. If Tolkien’s lore had already inspired lot of musical artists for their works (I especially think about metal artists), Lind Erebros brought a new atmosphere and his albums are my favorite about Silmarillion. I first discovered it one year ago, and everytime I hear it, my mind is brought in the Early ages, when Earth was inhabited by the Gods and the Elves. I. Rebirth of Light The first album is about the beginning of Eä. It narrate the creation of the world, Valinor, the land of Valar, the birth of the first Elves and principal events during the Ages of Trees like Fëanor and the Silmarils, until the coming of Morgoth and Ungoliant who destroyed the Trees, to finish on the First Moon Nigh
